What we in journalism have to learn from scientists in COVID. They adapted to an open information ecosystem, making tens of thousands of papers public and free immediately on preprint servers, using Twitter for peer review, and giving the public information and explanation. We in journalism still haven't adapted to the ecosystem; they did it in weeks.
